Einophony®

The word Einophony® comes from ancient Greek είναι («being») and φωνή («sound»). It is about working on oneself, really on the self, through the singing and speaking voice. Born out of the encounter between Benjamin Grenard, pneumaphonist, and Bernard Sensfelder, psychologist and einotherapist, Einophony follows the spirit of François Roustang’s and Serge Wilfart’s work.

In short, it’s about removing what obstructs people from accessing to their Self

Then rebuild the Self through Body and Voice practices.

As such, it is an inner path towards less, leading to simplicity, well-being and more depth, combined with practices helping the person to reveal through those vehicles, namely the Body and Voice, with stronger roots and harmony.

Similar to Zen, this approach is based on a strong incarnation process, Einophony derives from Einotherapy and Pneumaphony.

Rediscovering well-being: few words about Einotherapy.

Einotherapy consists of taking care of the self through the self… In other words, of being, instead of doing. Indeed, it is about letting go any resistance, in order to allow the Self back as the driving force. To do so, Einotherapy removes what is superfluous by taking the mask off people and setting them free from tensions associated with unease. According to Einotherapy, feeling uneasy mainly comes from fear and guilt. Neurologically speaking, nerve impulses are bypassed when people experience fear and guilt, whereas when they feel good, people’s brain is in a sort of “power saving mode”, using the quickest routes, without any bypass.

The watchword of Einotherapy is “on the path towards well-being, one has to start with removing…”

From breath to voice via the body: few words about Pneumaphony

There is no voice without breath. But in the breathing movement lies the seed of people’s entire anxiety. Relearning how to breathe, is relearning how to speak and sing. Pneumaphony also goes the other way around: learning how to sing in order to improve breathing.

Pneumaphony is a powerful tool to work on the vehicles, namely the body and voice, in which universal harmony can free flow again along with a pure breathing movement. Pneumaphony shows that, through the processes of breathing and realigning their voice, people straighten up and transform, as they become in tune with natural harmony. It is about going back to the baby’s incarnation, that baby having of course evolved a lot since then. As people practice Pneumaphony, their entire posture modifies and they find deep inner resources to assert themselves and find their place: a new mindset, a different speech, and a quiet strength set in.

And Einophony® was born…

During Pneumaphony workshops, spontaneous practice of Einotherapy gave rise to Einophony. That was a simple and natural process. Moreover, those two approaches are complementary in many ways, including a similar philosophy towards less, and the capacity to dive into the intensity of being, close to the spirit of Zen.

For Einotherapy, Pneumaphony represents a possibility to incarnate and rebuild in an unexpected way, which strongly increases its impact. Pneumaphony, which works on the instrument, the vehicle, is getting more focused thanks to Einotherapy, as it makes it possible to guide people through exploring themselves, especially regarding fear and guilt, preventing the self to set free. When including Einotherapy, people who were used to practice Pneumaphony can no longer escape exploring their dark side, which is an essential aspect for a thorough exploration of oneself. As a consequence, the Musician embodied in the Instrument is more closely guided.

Besides, when practicing Einophony, experiencing lucidity and consciousness during a light trance is amazing, and we give people the keys to more and more practice it alone.
